On Monday, Virginia Tech football announced its 2025 spring game will be played on Saturday, April 12, at 3 p.m. ET in Lane Stadium.
The Hokies will release more details about the day's events closer to the date, including ticket information.
It's the earliest the spring game has been in at least two decades. Last year's event took place on April 13. It was on the 15th in 2023 and the 16th before that.
Tech's spring semester begins on Tuesday, Jan. 21, and the Hokies have added a number of players from the transfer portal who will enroll early and participate in spring practice and the annual spring game.
The ACC is also expected to release the 2025 football schedules in the coming weeks.
Outside of football, other Tech sporting events that weekend include the baseball team's three-game series vs. Florida State at English Field, the softball program's three-game series vs. Notre Dame at Tech Softball Park and lacrosse's Saturday match vs. Syracuse at Thompson Field.
