Three years after being a late addition to Brent Pry's first signing class, Virginia Tech defensive back Xayvion Turner-Bradshaw is in the transfer portal, according to VTScoop.

XTB spent most of his career on offense as a wideout, finding a role on reverses in 2023 and scoring on a 47-yard touchdown run against NC State, but a crowded receiver room this fall led to his move to defensive back late in the year. He only played on special teams in 2024.

The Graham High product was a three-star prospect in the 2022 class.

Tech's losing a lot at receiver already just from players graduating. Ali Jennings, Da'Quan Felton, Jaylin Lane and Stephen Gosnell are exhausting their eligibility.

A decent group of young receivers is behind them, however, highlighted by Ayden Greene, Keylen Adams, Chanz Wiggins and Chance Fitzgerald. Tucker Holloway also returns from a knee injury that cost him all of 2024.
