The Virginia Tech men’s basketball ACC schedule was released on Tuesday morning.  The Hokies will begin conference play at home against Clemson on December 15.  They’ll play a 20-game ACC schedule that will wrap up at NC State on either March 5 or March 6.

Tech will face the following teams at home: Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame, Duke, Boston College, UVA, FSU, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest.

The Hokies will play the following opponents on the road: Virginia, Louisville, Wake Forest, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Pitt, Miami, UNC, FSU and NC State.

Some non-conference games have also been announced.  Virginia Tech will face Temple (Nov. 28) and USF (Nov. 29) in the Air Force Reserve Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off in Connecticut.  They’ll also host Penn State in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on December 8.

Other non-conference games have been scheduled, but they have yet to be officially announced:

  • November 25: Radford
  • December 2 or 3: VMI

More non-conference games could be announced at a later date.

The Hokies are coming off a 16-16 season as head coach Mike Young begins his second year in Blacksburg.
