Virginia Tech received a commitment from Northern Virginia defensive back Jalen Stroman on Friday evening. He is the brother of former VT cornerback Greg Stroman.
Stroman attends Patriot High School in Nokesville, VA. He is a 3-star recruit, and he chose the Hokies over his two other finalists, Duke and UVA. Though his brother was a cornerback for the Hokies, Stroman is considered more of a safety/nickel recruit at this point in time.
Stroman is the seventh commitment of the 2021 recruiting class. He is the No. 17 recruit in Virginia according to 247Sports, and the No. 19 recruit in the state according to the 247 Composite rankings.
