Virginia Tech’s 2019 recruiting class is complete. The Hokies signed 22 players overall in the 2019 class, including three new players on Wednesday.

4-star OL Doug Nester
2-star QB Knox Kadum
3-star JUCO DT Jaden Cunningham
4-star linebacker Eugene Asante signed with North Carolina over Tech, Maryland, Nebraska, Florida State, and a few others. Other than that, Signing Day went very well for the Hokies, and it was highlighted by flipping Nester from Ohio State, where he had been committed since August of 2017.
Jahad Carter, an athlete from the Richmond area, was a Virginia Tech commit. However, he did not sign with the Hokies on Wednesday, and the plan is for him to attend Fork Union Military Academy. Tech could continue to recruit him as a member of the 2020 class.
Virginia Tech signed seven four-star players per the TSL rankings, as well as the 247 Composite: OL Doug Nester, OL Bryan Hudson, S JR Walker, WR Jaden Payoute, WR Tayvion Robinson, RB Keshawn King and WR Jacoby Pinckney. Six of those seven players were offensive recruits, with five of them being wide receivers or offensive linemen.
