For the first time since late 2011, Virginia Tech has moved into the top 10. The Hokies came in at No. 10 in the country in the Coaches Poll on Sunday. However, they are still outside the top 10 at No. 13 in the AP Poll.
The last time the Hokies were ranked in the top 10 came following their 38-0 regular season finale against Virginia back in 2011. Tech ranked No. 3 in the country in the Coaches Poll, and No. 5 nationally in the AP Poll. However, they lost 38-10 to Clemson the following week in the ACC Championship Game, were knocked out of the top 10, and didn’t make another appearance until this week.

The Hokies will return to action this Saturday when they face Old Dominion (0-3) on the road. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30pm, and the game will be televised by CBS Sports Network.
