Virginia Tech received another verbal commitment on Thursday night from 2019 defensive tackle Brandon Dorlus.  From Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, FL, Dorlus is the third defensive tackle commit of the 2019 class, and the third from the state of Florida.

Dorlus joins Mario Kendricks and Norell Pollard as Sunshine State defensive tackles in Virginia Tech’s 2019 recruiting class.  He is listed with offers from Clemson, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, Pitt, Tennessee and several others, though he is only a 3-star recruit according to all the recruiting services. 

Dorlus is expected to be the final defensive tackle of Tech’s 2019 recruiting class.  He is the 15th commitment of the class.
