Clark, who visited Virginia Tech this past weekend, is an unranked cornerback out of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound corner held just six other scholarship offers, two of which were from Power 5 programs.

Clark's commitment gives Virginia Tech eight commitments in the Class of 2018. Clark is also the third defensive back committed for 2018, joining Chamarri Conner and Nasir Peoples. The Hokies are in on several other defensive backs, and likely will take one or two more in the Class of 2018.

Dr. Phillips has brought Virginia Tech good luck in recent classes. In the Class of 2017, Virginia Tech signed Robert Porcher IV out of Dr. Phillips. Along with Clark, the Hokies are recruiting Dr. Phillips corner Tanner Ingle.
