Glaze is listed at 6-foot-3, 250-pounds and plays for Jefferson High School in Tampa, FL. Glaze is a 3-star prospect at defensive end, although at his size, he'll likely slide inside and play at defensive tackle at Virginia Tech.
Glaze was originally committed to South Florida but with the departure of Willie Taggart and arrival of Charlie Strong, Glaze decommitted on Dec. 7. He's listed with 21 reported scholarship offers from schools such as Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi State and Tennessee.
Friday brought two commitments for Virginia Tech. JUCO-transfer AJ Bush announced on Twitter he would attend Tech and enroll for this spring semester. Bush gives the Hokies depth at quarterback, while Glaze will give the Class of 2017 depth on the defensive line.
