Virginia Tech needed a bit of a momentum boost on the recruiting trail and they got one on Thursday night with the commitment of Jalen Holston.

Holston, a running back from Stockbridge, GA., was the top remaining target for the Hokies at running back for the Class of 2017. Holston is rated as a 3-star back by the 247Sports Composite rating. Holston is 5-foot-11, 200-pounds.
Virginia Tech now has two running backs committed for the '17 class. Holston joins Orlando Jones, who will be a preferred walk-on for the Hokies next season.
