Virginia Tech Cracks Top-25 in AP Poll, Game Time Set for North Carolina

Virginia Tech didn't play this weekend, but thanks to several losses by top-25 teams, voters tabbed the Hokies at No. 25 in the AP Poll after Week 5.

It's the first time the Hokies are ranked since 2014, after Tech knocked off Ohio State.

Virginia Tech will play North Carolina next weekend on the road. After the Tar Heels' win over Florida State, North Carolina moved into the 17th position after being unranked last week. The ACC announced on Saturday that the Hokies' game vs. North Carolina will be at 3:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN 2.

While the Hokies are ranked in the AP Poll, Tech is still unranked in the Coaches' Poll.
