Bowman racked up an astounding 165 tackles and forced five fumbles as a junior last season. Playing inside linebacker in Suitland's 4-4 defense, Bowman served as the leader of the defense and helped Suitland capture its first state title in school history. <br /> <br /> Offensively, Bowman rushed for 1200 yards and 22 touchdowns last season, including 160 yards in the state title game.<br /> <br /> Coach Nick Lynch: “He’s kind of like our quarterback on defense. He calls all our fronts, our coverages and all the stunts and things. If he sees a tendency or something of that nature, he’ll make the adjustments. He’s been doing this since his sophomore year.”
