Pronounced fer-reen. A star in both track in football, Ferrine uses outstanding speed to be successful on the gridiron. As a junior, he had 50 tackles, six interceptions, and eight pass break-ups. Ferrine is an excellent return man as well, as he had one 97 yard punt return for a touchdown and one 95 yard kickoff return for a touchdown as a junior. <br /> <br /> Former Essex Catholic Head Coach Louis: "Leo is a sprint guy. He runs the 200 m in track, and is very fast. He is basically our return specialist. He is also a great cover corner, and uses good techniques in his coverage."
