During the regular season as a junior, Graves had 10 sacks, 7 tackles-for-loss and 14 quarterback hurries. He earned Richmond Times-Dispatch first-team all-metro honors and AP all-state honors at the defensive end position. Graves was one of the leaders on a Monarch team that captured the Division 5 state championship in 2004.<br /> <br /> Coach Bill Bowles: “His strength factor, the size that he is and the speed that he has. He has good lateral speed although this year he played with a hurt hamstring most of the year which prevented him from really going all out. But his strengths are his lateral speed, the quickness he has off the ball and his strength.”
