A terrific athlete in track, Sparrow captured the indoor state championship in the 500 meters as a sophomore.<br /> <br /> As a junior on the gridiron, Sparrow earned second-team all-Southeastern district honors at defensive back. He also plays wide receiver for the Bruins.<br /> <br /> Head coach Scott Johnson: "Javanti is a pretty physical player at cornerback and he has really, really good speed. Obviously, all colleges like that speed aspect he has."
