Hopkins earned first-team all-metro honors as a sophomore, totaling 49 tackles including 8 tackles for loss. He repeated the all-metro honor his junior season, when he racked up 12 tackles-for-loss including five sacks. He had two interceptions as well in 2008.<br /> <br /> Hopkins' brother, Antoine, is an underclassmen defensive tackle at Virginia Tech.
