Hall was the #2 player in the state of Virginia, and could have gone to any school in the country. He played as a true freshman, and was just 17 years old when the season began. He left for the NFL after three seasons, and was taken #8 overall in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Falcons. He is currently with the Oakland Raiders, and has been a perennial Pro Bowler.
