Turner was a first-team all-Southeastern District and a first-team all-Tidewater selection his junior season. He was also named Southeastern District Offensive Player of the Year. As a junior, he completed 55% of his passes for 2,780 yards with 24 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.<br /> <br /> Great Bridge head coach Pete Gale: “He can make all of the throws. He has a cannon of an arm. He’s a solid athlete. He runs in the 4.7s in the 40. He’s a 4.3 shuttle kid. He buys time in the pocket. He prefers to throw down the field, but he can run if he needs to.”
