As a junior for Westfield's state championship team last year (with Westfield being very dominant with Sean Glennon and Eddie Royal) Brent recorded 22 punts with a 40 yard gross, 38 net, 11 for no return, seven inside the 20, longest 64 yards, no blocks, and with a hang time ranging to the upper four seconds. Brent punted for the JV team in sophomore year and freshman team as a 9th grader.<br /> <br /> Bowden finished the 2004 season with a 44-yard per punt gross average, a 37-yard net average, kicked 15 punts inside the 20-yard line and booted a long punt of 58 yards. He earned 1st-team all-Concorde district, 1st-team 6-AAA all-Region, 1st-team Journal Newspaper (Fairfax County), 1st-team Washington Post all-metro and 1st-team all-state honors for his senior year performance. <br />
