Barden plays quarterback in high school but projects as a tight end on the next level. He led LCHS to a state championship last season as a junior. A 3-sport athlete, Brandon has played football, basketball and baseball in his high school career. In his senior season, Barden rushed for around 600 yards and passed for about 500 yards in leading Lincoln County to a second consecutive Class A state championship. VT career update: Barden enrolled at Virginia Tech in January of 2007.
