   There is no need for a depth chart because the entire team is going to play - some of the managers could get in a few series. VMI got spanked by Idaho State last week - Franklin can spin these games any way he wants, but this is not even going to be a good scrimmage.

   With the 5 for 5 rule why do we keep calling them freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors rather than year 1, year 2, year 3, year 4, and year 5?

      hold your water, there pardner. save your criticisms ... probably because that's the way the coaches, roster, and university label them. give it time, please. someone has to figure out the ncaa-wide terminology - the ncaa don't think that fast, "Ralphie boy." we'll get an agreed upon labeling system by mid-season and no one will like it. ... you'll have more to complain about then!

   I really like Coach Franklin's words on college football having no pre-season. A good reason to have VMI, Citadel, and Gardner-Webb on the schedule. I publicly take back all the bad vibes I was putting out when Gardner-Webb was announced. Just excited for a great tailgate and game on Saturday.
