Lordy, I hope this coaching staff has the sense to put Luke on the field and throw him the ball. His daddy impressed the hell out of me, and I think this young man has a chance to be much better.

Great Article Chris. Best warm feeling article I have read this season. I like that you reached out to his dad. Your article has cemented this guys name to my poor aging memory. I will definitely be taking notice with Stuewe takes the field, and will be cheering for him. Knowing the players at this level makes following football more fun. If he is "close" to his dad's abilities, then Luke will be AOK and get playing time. I liked Michael too, he made TDs.

  Like Michael explained it: "a top effort moment, or a heads-up football moment, or even if it’s a big play." It can be any of those things. Basically anything the coach deems worthy.

Michael Stuewe was among my favorite players of that era. Obviously not as talented as some others but he clearly worked hard and had a knack for making clutch catches. I was glad when Tech signed Luke, hoping that he would be a similar player. Looks like he will be, and maybe even better.
