Like hiring guys with lots of history. I hate the mesh but then again didnt understand why they did it. Now I see if the OL struggles we can possibly blend it in if the game scenario calls for it. Pretty dang smart hire if so

Me too. Guys with lots of history today are called old retired replaced guys - but old is good in my book.

He is a great coach; i.e., great teacher! He helped me with our Delaware Wing T offense when he came through as a recruiter. Warren is a great addition to our staff. By the way... Andy: just received my copy of "100 Things..." Can't wait to dig in! Go Hokies!!!

Glad Ruggiero is on our staff and excited he is working on our game plans. You know the guy can think out of the box. Just look at that crazy mesh. Who would have thought that would work. But it did and very well at that. I remember seeing Wake run the mesh and I thought, what the heck are they doing! Just looking forward to what he can do for the Hokie.

He looks like a great resource to have on offense. Will be interesting to see what he can incorporate this year.

Nice article, Andy. It certainly appears that Ruggiero is in a position to influence the offense's ability to adapt as needed, which may be critically important on a young team.
