   If I'm reading the rules correctly, there is one contact period for most of January. Then, February through mid-April is a quiet period. A second contact period occurs between mid-April and late-May, followed by another quiet/dead period from late-May til the end of July. This would seem to overwhelmingly favor programs in the warmer climates who want to hold a Junior Day in January. I guess that is just the breaks of geography (and climatology) - - - not unlike EVERYTHING to do with recruiting... Like, tOSU seems to be (at least) as popular a destination as the U despite the parkas vs bikinis aspect!
