For the first time in years (maybe since the 90’s), I didn’t watch the game live. I was carting my kids all over Roanoke County doing family fun time. And let me tell you, from Glenvar, to West Salem, to to East Salem, to Cave Spring, I don’t think I’d ever seen the roads that empty in the middle of the day. I spent twenty years of my life there, driving on holidays and in bad weather, and I can’t think of one day that compares. Then, around, seven o’clock, everything picked up. I’m going to guess the game had a little something to do with that, and with that in mind, I don’t think the Hokies need the same “shock” as carolinawahoo prescribes the Cavaliers.
