Our chances are very "slim." I put us ahead of only the Bearcats. Like 13xxxxHokie says, we need to win more to get these kind of kids. Hope we are both wrong.

Back in the early day when we were losing consistently under Coach Beamer, I believe it was Cornell Brown who first took a chance on us. Things then began to turn around. It depends on the kid’s personality. Maybe he wants to go somewhere we he can be part of a build.

Glad to see the staff going after this caliber of player. It only takes a few to make a great class. Recruiting is trending in the right direction. Might have to win first before we land these types of players. I agree with you there.

Just don't see us being able to sign this guy. Maybe down the road if we start winning more games we can get these types of players. Hope I'm wrong.

Not sure this kind of pessimism is helpful. Sure bums me out when I hear a comment like this every time we make an offer above 3 star.

We have signed good players from Greensboro before. Tough competition listed for sure, but Fontel is a great recruiter and Pry is all in on recruiting. So there is a chance.
