Hokie Freddy, I grew up in Lynchburg and loved the town. I then became a Hokie fan, attending almost all home games. It now blows my mind that we are talking about Liberty beating the Hokies. But, that is what will happen on Saturday . Someone needs to beat somebodies butt. I am talking about a sure win for Liberty and our sports program getting worse every year. Thank God for Mike Young and the Basketball Team, we always have that to fall on.

My concern with Liberty is being out coached. Hugh Freeze is a very good coach and understands personnel, packages, and schemes as well as anyone. He’s also really good at exploiting any kind of weakness on the opposing team. VT has more #1 talent, but the depth is about the same for both teams.

"Overall, this isn’t a particularly talented offense, but I believe the coaching staff gets the most out of the players." Chris Coleman describing Liberty Just don't know what to make of all the running back blocking coordinator, DC but not DC, who's on first coaching architecture and responsibility tree this year. I am of the belief this staff is the polar opposite of Liberty's right now, not getting anywhere near the best out of what VT has. Say what you want about the never ending debate on talent level but, I know this team has more talent than 2-8 or 2-10.
