Virginia Tech women's basketball and Megan Duffy received a commitment from Jazman Bailey on Wednesday, she announced on Instagram.

The 5-foot-9 point guard from Mansfield, Texas, is the No. 41 recruit in the 2027 class, per ESPN. Rivals ranks her as the No. 33 prospect.

Bailey chose the Hokies over a ton of offers, including Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, UCLA and Vanderbilt.

She won a gold medal with USA Basketball at 2025 FIBA U16 AmeriCup, where she started all six games in Mexico, and was part of the U16 and U17 Women's National Teams the last two summers. Over six games at the FIBA U17 World Cup this year, she posted nine points, 16 assists and nine rebounds.

One of 11 players from Texas in ESPN's top 100, Bailey eclipsed 1,000 career points during her junior season at Lake Ridge High School and helped the Eagles to a 19-7 record.

She's the Hokies' third pledge in the 2027 class, joining 5-foot-10 guard Dani Robinson (ESPN's No. 38 recruit) and 6-foot guard Lillie Graves (No. 60). Duffy & Co. are now up to seven top-100 commits.
