Virginia Tech and James Franklin received a commitment from Luke Braham late Saturday night.

West Virginia was the biggest competition for Braham, as he's from Morgantown and his father, Rich, and brother, Noah, both played for the Mountaineers. However, offensive line coach Matt Moore and the Hokies got him on campus this weekend and secured his commitment.

The only recruiting outlet that gives him a ranking is 247Sports, which has him as the No. 73 offensive tackle and the No. 1 player in West Virginia in the 2027 class. The 247Sports composite rankings list him as the No. 851 overall player in the class.

Northwestern, Rutgers and Wake Forest were Braham's other Power Four offers. He also held interest from Florida Atlantic, Kent State, Liberty, Marshall, Ohio and Toledo.

Braham is the 17th commitment in Tech's 2027 class and the second offensive lineman, joining Kaden Buchanan (Lebanon, Tenn.).
