Virginia Tech continued its Green Run High School pipeline on Sunday with the commitment of cornerback Zaevion Cleveland.

The Virginia Beach native officially visited Blacksburg this weekend and chose the Hokies soon after. He previously visited Virginia and Syracuse, and Duke was one of his other Power 4 offers. Tech wide receivers coach Fontel Mines was his lead recruiter.
The 6-foot-4, 187-pounder is the Hokies' sixth Green Run pledge in the last three cycles. Wide receiver Keylen Adams was a 2024 signee while cornerback Knahlij Harrell, defensive end Zeke Chinwike and wideout Jayden Anderson were part of the 2025 class. Tech also added defensive end Kamren Johnson, a fellow 2026 prospect, on June 13.
Cleveland is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and On3. The former lists him as the No. 15 prospect in the Commonwealth of Virginia while the latter has him at No. 31. He also plays basketball and was previously at Landstown High School.
He's the Hokies' fifth commitment in the 2026 class and the fourth from Virginia.
